WHO WE SERVE

Homeowners who are elderly, disabled, families with children, and/or veterans in need. To be considered for assistance, homeowners must live in Thurston County and:

  • Be low-income and

    • Have a disability or

    • Are a senior citizen or

    • Are a family with young children or

    • Are a veteran

  • Own and reside in the home needing repairs

  • Plan to remain in the home for at least the next two years

  • Be unable to complete the work on your own

 

We also help with repairs for nonprofit community facilities. If your nonprofit facility is in need of repairs, please contact us.

490 apps received since 2004 (as of 12/31/2021)
274 homeowners served
502 people helped

  • 387 occupants

  • 163 people 62 and older

  • 191 disabled

  • 122 males

  • 260 females

  • 5 unspecified gender

  • 51 military veterans

The 387 occupants who received assistance associate with these ethnic groups:

  • African American - 8

  • Asian - 4

  • Caucasian - 230

  • Hispanic/Latino - 14

  • Native American - 8

  • Pacific Islander - 3

  • More than one ethnicity - 15
